Welcome to timatio, an online service (the "Service") where users can share track log and waypoint information (among other content), connect with other users, and make use of the Application Programming Interface (the "API") for collaborative applications. The Service is operated by Alexander Mayrhofer EDV-Dienstleistungen (the "Operator"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound to these Terms of Service.
The Operator may amend those Terms of Service from time to time. In such cases, the Operator will post a notice to the Service, and inform account holders via email. Updated Terms become effective one week after posting the notice
You accept that the Operator may refuse or limit access to the Service without prior notice to individual or all users for any or no reason, especially in cases of Denial of Service Attacks or improper use.
Access to some parts of the Service (specifically uploading / posting content) requires an account, identified by username and password. You agree to keep the credentials of your account confidential, and you also agree to be held fully responsible for any activity on the Service that is performed under your account.
You must not post content to the Services that is copyrighted by third parties. You must also not post any harmful, unlawful or objectable content to the site, nor post links to such content. You accept that the Operator cannot and will not review any content, and that you accept full responsibility for any content you post, and for consequences of your posts. The Operator reserves the right to remove any content from the site for any or no reason without prior notification.
By posting any copyrightable content to the site (including, but not limited to track logs, waypoint information, textual comments and descriptions, images, tags, reviews and links), you retain full copyright on your content. However, by posting such content you grant the Operator a perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable, sub-licensable, non-exclusive worldwide license to use, reproduce, publish, edit, translate, adapt, modify, distribute, perform and display the as part of other works (derivative works) or alone in any form, media, or technology.
You agree that the Operator may sub-license content from the Service (including content you posted) under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 License, available at http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/legalcode or the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 License, available at http://creativecommons.org/licences/by-sa/3.0/legalcode .
Most parts of the content on the Service are contributed by users. The Operator can therefore not be held responsible for the content's fitness for any purpose. You acknowledge that you are fully aware that content on the Service may be misleading, and that it may not be useful for navigation.
You also agree to indemnify and hold the Operator and his partners harmless from any claims or demands, made by any third party due to or arising out of content you post, transmit or make available through the Service, your use of the Service, your violation of the TOS, or your violation of any rights of another.
You agree that the Operator may send email related to the Service to the email address associated with your account.

Since timatio never requests any personal information, those cookies can and are only being used for session management purposes. third party contents: timatio pages may include web beacons by third parties, for example for the purpose of access statistics collection. timatio also uses mapping services by third parties.
