description

Offically called "Underground Station Schottentor", this was called by the Viennese "Jonas-Reindl" (Jonas-Pot) because the station is designed in a pot-like shape on two levels, with the ramp to Währinger Strasse being the "handle" of the "reindl". Jonas was the name of the mayor who opened the station.
